These are without doubt the best i've had at this stage of the season (thanks again Helen!) so i'm hopeful of getting some 3 pounders. One slight worry is that a few weed seedlings have emerged. Easily picked off but i'm assuming they would have come from the sieved soil I included in the potting mix. If that is the case microwaving obviously did not kill them, so has it also failed to kill any white rot residues? I asked Dave T and he thinks the weed seeds could have been in the M3. Anyone else had that problem?

I wish I'd have been able to get hold of some of those Yellow Boomerang Onions this year.
I pissed off to check out the bad camera angle comment. Concluded that if you changed the camera angle to straighten that first onion, then all the other onions would be wrong. Perhaps the angle of refraction in the Midlands needs adjusting?

m3 compost has gone crap since scotts took over they cost me £300 worth of leek and onion seedlings 3 years back i rang and complained and im still waiting for there 'analist' to come for a sample
