Dad wanted a picture of his big onion...it looks pretty big to me as my hands are only small!

weedkiller works well to stop them growing
So does a sharp knife and a dollop of mayo
Yes as Paul said, you in a great position to help your pops out, goto the garden centre and ask for some GLYPHOSATE and when you get back apply liberaly over all you dads crops, i promise he will be er..... lost for words when he gets back!!
P.S Perhaps best if you dont actualy.
i think you are doing a great job heather. has he given you any instructions on his dahlias. if not as an expert i am always willing to help. no doubt hes swanning arround "living it large" in Falaraki boring everyone about the size of his cucumbers or how man utd will win the premier league this season.
As far as I can tell daughter no. 1, everything looks OK! But those blurry photos could be deceiving.
Oh.....and I forgot to tell you. There's a frog in the greenhouse. He keeps me company at night when I'm watering. Hope he didn't jump out at you? Is he missing me?
Went to the waterpark today. As usual I was absolutely brilliant on the huge 'toilet bowl of death'....we took some footage. My streamlined physique meant I was the only one to achieve 3 revolutions before being flushed down the pan.Classic. I feel very tired through my exertions now.
Ciao.
Yes dad you might have forgotten to tell me that! Frightened the life out of me!
Kev – Dahlias not on the list so ignoring them! I’m sticking rigidly to the list!!
Dene, Richard and Paul – thanks for your suggestions but I have a feeling dad would kill me if I listened to your comments!!
Kev...dahlias having to fend for themselves this year. The veg is by far the most important focus this season. However, if I have some blooms on show days all well and good.
Hev.....I think there is a frog in both greenhouses actually so be on guard. Keep cropping the cucumbers and courgettes!
