Sweet Candle

This is a new variety of stump carrot which I saw for the first time at Malvern and which won the National title for a Mr. J. McCartney. They were very large....about 10" long and 1 1/2" in diameter.

They're available from Medwyn's seeds but you need to hurry as they're sure to sell out soon.

Hi Liam,
He was selling them at Malvern Show. I haven't received my 2007-2008 catalogue so can't say if they're in there but I assume they are the trial variety from last season's catalogue that only had a reference number.

Another good one to look out for so I'm told is 'Osiris'. Had some packets myself last season but never got round to trying it but Dave Thornton of the NVS rates it.
