By all accounts the Americans didn't "get it" probably because it was all about culture,heritage and history.
Apparently they were expecting Ronald Mcdonald and a pneumatic plastic titted airhead to appear on a Jetpac followed by Madonna screaming the national anthem.
Oops,how disappointed you must have all been.
If any American is feeling a bit disappointed with their own countrys history and would like me to provide them with a little culture then I think I have a half eaten yoghurt lurking in the bottom of my fridge somewhere.
